Camps & Events
Senior Ichthus is a residential camp during the June school holidays for young people in Grades 7 to 12. It's an exciting holiday camping experience that challenges young people to step outside their comfort zones through participation in both group and individual activities.
Senior Ichthus Camp gives participants the opportunity to form new friendships and strengthen existing ones, as well as spend time in group discussion. This takes place in a safe, welcoming, and inclusive community. Ichthus Camps have been around since 2002. Many of the leaders on these camps grew up attending them.
What Happens on Camp?
On Senior Ichthus Camp there’s outdoor and indoor games, singing and worship, inspiring talks from our Spiritual Directors, messy games, a campfire, trivia, scavenger hunts, a movie night and heaps more! All of this happens in a safe, welcoming, and non-judgmental environment with a team of trained leaders and qualified Spiritual Directors.
Do I Need to Be Anglican or Christian?
No - there’s no need to be Christian or Anglican to come along to camp, but we do explore themes of faith and spirituality throughout the week. Participants are expected to respect the faith and beliefs of others and can expect to have their own faith and beliefs respected.
